Welcome to the web site of Cornerstone Players, a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Endicott.
Cornerstone Players was formed in 1995 as a singing group to minister to our church, other church groups and nursing homes. Our singing continued for a number of years before we expanded into dramatic productions.
In addition to the productions listed below, Cornerstone Players also produces numerous Sunday morning skits at our church.
Cornerstone Players invites any interested people to participate in our skits and productions.

Our production for 2012 is "Jerusalem P.D." by Daniel Wray
Meet Sergeant Joe Thursday and Officer Frank Cannon, assigned to investigate the disappearance of a criminal's body. Between baklava breaks, the two officers gather "just the facts." The investigation takes some hilarious turns as the detective duo tries to pin the crime on those who followed this man (Mary Magdalene and disciples Thomas and Peter) and those who didn't (two tomb guards and Pilate). A comprehensive picture of the Resurrection emerges amid one-liners and eventually builds to a poignant conclusion on the road to Emmaus.
